The basilisk is a truly fearsome creature, one that can kill a human in mere moment with its gaze alone,

If one manages to somehow surpass its gaze of death the bite of this creature is not something that is without danger. A basilisks fangs are said to pierce even armor, while its venom will corrode all it touches and even travel from a persons weapon to its user.

A word of warning if triumphant against a Basilisk, as even after its death the fangs of this creature can retain some of this corrosive venom.
